How The Tortoise And The Hare Story Can Relate To Your Internet Business

the tortoise and the hareMost of us know about the Aesop Fable of the tortoise and the hare. The story is of a tortoise who is constantly ridiculed by a hare about being slow. The tortoise then challenges the hare to a race.

The hare streaks away and leaves the tortoise behind and he is so confident of winning the race he takes a nap. To his dismay when he wakes up he finds out that the tortoise has overtaken him and won the race.

So here is my interpretation of the tortoise and the hare and what it has got to do with your internet business.

When you start any business it is a matter of one step at a time. You lay the foundation block and build on it. This is extremely relevant to having an online business. It can be a minefield at times and you will at some points like I have done tear your hair out.

Case Study – The tortoise and the hare have both just bought the same business opportunity. The hare ridicules the tortoise and say’s that he will be more successful and richer quicker. Let’s see what happens.

hareThe Hare – He opens his business in a box. He looks at the training manual and goes straight to the module where it say’s he will make the money. He bypasses all the information in the previous modules because he thinks he knows it all.

This is all he is interested in. He wants the money and starts chasing it, after all he is in a race. So he goes out into the big wide world touting his business to anyone and everyone. Six months later he is in the same position as where he started.

No money coming in, no sustainable business, no reputation of any value and basically a failure. He blames everybody else for his failings and he quits.

tortoiseThe Tortoise – He opens his business in a box and he to looks at the training manual. He sits down and assesses the information and and straight away realises that Module 1 would be a good place to start.

The information is compelling and it does not take too long for the information to start making sense. He implements what he has learnt and then moves onto Module 2 and does the same. Eventually he gets to the final module, you know the one where you start making the money.

With all the information that he has amassed he is now ready to take on the world, which he does. It is not too long before he starts to see significant results.

So six months later the two of them decide to meet up and compare results.

The hare is destitue, angry and say’s the whole thing was a scam whereas the tortoise turns up in his shiny new car and clean crisp clothes full of the joys of spring.

So the moral of this little story is the following formula –

EDUCATION > IMPLEMENTATION = RESULTS

Starting a business takes time and you have to apply this formula. If you continually chase the results before you educate yourself then you have little to no chance and you can waste months and months trying.

This is where the Six Figure Mentors is different to any other educational and business system. You have to start at Module 1. There is no choice and you can’t go onto Module 2 until you have finished it.

The process continues up to Module 5. Then you have the education to implement the strategies into the business system that you are provided with.

Now that may sound too much work for some people and if that is you then I appreciate you reading this up to now but really you are on the wrong page and I will say goodbye to you now.

If not and you are interested in building a real business and you are prepared to work at it then please watch a video presentation on how you can get started TODAY!

Click on the image below and my friend and business associate Stuart Ross will explain how you can build a profitable internet business from scratch.

I hope that you found the video inspirational and I also hope that you have taken value out of my interpretation on the tortoise and the hare.

As always I wish you well.
