Home Business Ideas #4
Time flies when you are having fun and we are already at #4 in the home business ideas series. I wonder if you areaware that what we are going to talk about today is one of the highest selling commodities on the internet.
It is also one of the most lucrative methods I could think of when compliling this home business ideas series so here we go.
Information Products
Information is one of the biggest selling commodities on the internet today. The internet we mainly set up for people to find out things.
Whenever people search on the internet then the majority of time they are looking for a solution to a particular problem that they have. They also search for a specific product.
So basically give them what they want. Information!
If the information you create is of high quality then people will be more than happy to pay for it. It is a matter of getting them from A to B and the quicker the better.
At position A they have a problem and B is the solution. Tell them how to get there and they will give you their money.
The things you could offer has a wide spectrum. It could be a $10 E-book or a $1000+ home study course.
Types Of Information Products
Digital Information Products
- E-books
- MP3’s
- MP4’s
- Online membership Site Training Portals
Physical information Products
- DVD’s
- CD’s
- Books
- Other Printed Material
So you can ceate information products for any of the above formats. The trick is to find a crowd of people desperate to find a solution to a problem they are suffering from.
So after creating the product you market it to those people. They buy it from you and you make money. Again a simple concept but you usually find that the simple ideas are successful and profitable.
Then when you have mastered the art of finding a hungry crowd and market your product then it is a rinse and repeat system which can be apllied to multiple niches.
It can be time consuming in creating the product but you could do what we were talking about yesterday and take advantage of hiring a freelancer to do it for you. This process is also called “Outsourcing”.
Getting people to do the work to let you concentrate on the marketing. If you are not experienced in internet marketing then get in touch & I can introduce you the resource platform that I use which has multiple courses on many different topics all in on hub. CONTACT ME HERE.
How To Deliver Information Products
Digitally it is quite straight forward. For E-books you turn a simple word document into a PDF and upload it to a virtual storage platform and provide a download link.
If you re offering an online training course you can set up a membership website and what is called “Drip Feed” the content over a matter of weeks to your subscribers.
You can turn it into a Kindle book and there are other platforms like Kobo and Lulu to offer you products.
For physical products again it is straight forward. DVD’s & CD’s can be produced dy “Duplication Houses”. Google this term for DVD’s & CD’s and there will be lots of resources available.
What they do is supply the products on demand. You can set your website up to link with these companies and when a sale is made the order is processed and they fulfil the product. So quite hands off.
The same with printed material. There are print on demand services available and you can send them to Amazon FBA which we were talking about the other day and they handle the process for you. Again you can set the product up in CreateSpace.
Many options available. Think out of the box and like an entrepreneur and you will find a solution.
So that is it for #4 in the home business ideas series. I love this method as it is easy to create information products and as long as you put them in front of the right people it is easy to make money.
As always I wish you well.
